The rectangular case with lion mask ring handles on each side, set on the lobed and ring turned standard ending in the reeded quadripartite base with cast paw feet and casters.
Height 32 x width 15 x depth 12 inches.

Property from a San Antonio, Texas Collection

In decent, stable condition. Exterior of box with fairly even finish, having some light surface wear (nicks and scratches) consistent with age. Heavier chipping/loss to upper edge banding. Interior distressed and void, with a later tole tray, likely used as a jardiniere. With lock but no key.
Modern screws and differences in finish suggest base was added later, likely not as old as the box.
