11th-12th century AD. A gold ring comprising a length of lozenge-section rod closed with tapering ends coiled around the shank. Disclaimed under the Treasure Act, reference number 2012T234; accompanied by a copy of the Treasure Act receipt dated 24 March 2012. Recorded with the Portable Antiquities Scheme under reference KENT-9B6555; accompanied by a copy of the PAS report. 3.53 grams, 26mm overall, 20.03mm internal diameter (approximate size British U, USA 10, Europe 22.83, Japan 22) (1"). Property of a Kent lady; by inheritance; found near Eastling, Kent, UK, 2012.
