Description
Max Weber (American, 1881-1961) attributed: oil on paper, signed bottom right, stamped with label bearing "Charles Egan NY", unframed. Max Weber was a renowned artist and pioneer of cubism, although his later works would take on a more figurative style. During his lifetime he was lauded as one of the pre-eminent modernist painters and exhibited widely, including a retrospective at the MoMa in 1930.
