Five soldiers in 16th century dress around a wooden table on which dice are thrown, gesturing and shouting angrily, one to left reaching for his sword, one to right leaning forward with one knee on his stool; after Valentini; lettered state. 1769
Inscription: Lettered below the image with the title, continuing "From the original Picture of the same Size, painted by Valentini, in the Collection of Sr. James Lowther, Bart.", and "J. Boydell excudit, Mar. 1. 1769 / Vol. II, No. 40. / Engraved by Capt. Baillie".
