(Paramount, 1978) A pair of original concepts of "For Your Consideration" Academy Award promotions. These designs include a prototype with placeholder text for a "Best Actor" consideration for John Travolta, and an insert advertisement for a page in Variety Magazine which lists multiple categories for the film to be considered in. The imagery of just Travolta was created by taking printed imagery of Travolta, and placing a clear sheet with silkscreened text over the print. The full cast artwork features printed imagery and a clear layer hinged over the top that has printed sections of text applied over it. The Travolta image measures 14"x10.25" and 21"x16" overall in its paper mat, and the cast image measures 14"x21" and 20"x26.5" on its board backing. The condition is fair to good overall with some wear to the board from use, and some exposed tape around the border of the Travolta image.
