(King Features, 1968) A fantastic grouping of original hand-painted animation cels used in the production of The Beatles film "Yellow Submarine". The multi-cel set-up features images of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, the Yellow Submarine, and The Dreadful Flying Glove, each on their own cel layer. The cel layers have been slightly separated within their custom mat to produce a 3D effect. The overall image size is 9"x11.5" and the entire matted piece measures 15"x17.5". The cels are in very good condition overall, with minor wear throughout including some trimmed edges of the cel sheets. A set-up such as this with so many iconic characters from the film is incredibly rare.
