(LucasFilm, 1980) An extremely rare pitch packet for potential licensees for “Raiders of the Lost Arkâ€. Created early in the production of the film, the materials contain illustrated concept art rather than production photos. The outer folder opens to reveal a beautifully illustrated design by Jim Steranko. Inside, the folder contains a "Raiders of the Lost Ark" envelope with (2) incredible concept art prints inside, as well as a 2-page letter from Maggie Young, Vice President of Merchandising at LucasFilm's Licensing Division, as well as (2) packets of production progress reports on the film, and a Paramount Pictures summary packet for the film. This incredible promotional packet contains a wealth of early information on what would become one of the greatest films in cinematic history. This hard to find packet measures 13.5"x10.5" and is in very good condition with little wear.
