(Thought Factory, c.1977) An original painting by award winning visual effects artist and painter Dan Goozee. Titled "Invasion", this original artwork was used in a series of science fiction posters that were created and marketed by a partnership between Bill Wallen and Thought Factory in the late 1970s. The painting comes from Wallen's personal collection, and Goozee's influence from the iconic alien invasion films on the 1950's can clearly be seen throughout this stunning original painting. The artwork has an image size of 34"x23" on 40"x30" art board, and the condition is very fine with some wear to the edges and white margin areas of the board. There is a protective paper cover hinged over the top of the artwork that has some tearing throughout. Goozee has signed the bottom-right corner of the artwork.
