Terence was a 2nd-century BC Roman playwright who is most remembered for his comedies. His six plays, which all survive, were composed after he was freed from slavery. His plays were composed in simple Latin and were popular during the Middle Ages, despite having prevalent themes of paganism throughout.
This edition is the collected works of Terence from the series ‘Scriptores latini in usum Delphini.’
