Description

Rare pair of Staffordshire figures, c.1860, Duke of Connaught and the Princess, each on a piebald horse. 13.5"h. & 12.5"h.

Condition

Left figure: paint loss, chip to left hand where it rests on horse, chip to back of helmet. Right figure: firing crack to hoof and to blanket at rear haunch.If paint loss/losses indicated, corresponding photos are meant to show examples of such and perhaps not the total extent.
