A Victorian diamond, sapphire and half pearl brooch, designed as a quatrefoil of half pearls (not tested, one lacking) around an old cushion cut diamond centre with four more similar smaller diamonds between the pearls, from which emanates a graduated splay of pointed plaques, the longer at the cardinal points set with further pearls and diamonds, spaced by shorter pairs set with mid blue sapphires and rose cut diamonds; mostly closed back settings, clasp with safety catch, integral safety chain, length 4.0cm, width 3.3cm
