Vintage Cherokee War Club Stone Wood Leather Seaborn Bradley. This vintage Cherokee War Club is marked \"Seaborn Bradley, Cherokee N.C. Other sites call these tomahawks but this looks like a blunt instriment to me. The piece measures 23 inches long by 8 1/2 inches at the stone. The piece is signed\" Seaborn Bradley Cherokee NC\". It is in fine condition. There is an article written discussing the Craft Tradition in the Appalachians. Seaborn Bradley was born in 1917 and was a local maker of canes and tomahawks of which he regularly entered and won first prizes at the Annual Cherokee Indian Fares. The War Club is in good original condition with no visual repairs or issues. 4.10 lbs.
