Description

A very old brass baggage tag from the Memphis & Charleston Railroad. It was used for baggage traveling between Cincinnati and Chillicothe Ohio. The city names are in an arc which is an indicator of age. Perhaps more important is that no specific route is assigned meaning there was just one way to get to/from these two points. The M&C Railroad did this in their early years. It measures 1 3/4" by 1 13/16". Nice.
