This handsome Revolutionary War map centers roughly on White Plains, New York and details the battles and troop positions. The American forces (in Blue) are shown moving northward from a point near to today's Fordham University. The British are shown in Blue. Many property owners, roads, ferries, and towns are identified. Several notable places are shown, including Fort Washington, Dobbs Ferry, Fort Lee, Fort Independence, and Tarrytown.
