Description
Overall length: 16 1/4". Blade is marked "GES. GESCH. (Teno eagle)" all above "ORIGINAL (squirrel) EICKHORN SOLINGEN" on 1 side. On the other side, the dagger shows the etched "4273" beneath the Teno eagle guard. Nickel silver mounts w/ 2 piece composite white grip & 2 screw attachments. Scabbard has plated tip & throat w/ black enameled body. Top of throat is stamped "4273". Original black leather hanger has an Assman mark on the reverse of the clip. CONDITION: blade has some areas of original factory polish but does show noticeable scabbard wear. Entire hilt shows light wear. Scabbard body has about 99% black finish. Hanger shows light wear. A truly exceptional Teno hewer rarely encountered in this condition. (02-12281/BF). $2,000-3,000.
