Pair of Meissen Porcelain Parrots
fourth quarter 19th century, German, the parrots perched on tree stumps, the stumps molded with flowering vines and cherries, and various insects and snails, both with underglaze blue crossed swords, one with incised "20" and impressed "85", the other incised "20 X", both with overglaze black "21."

Condition
PARROT WITH SUET: All large leaves, one small leaf and legs of the beetle fluoresce. Two large leaves
are cracked across but remain in place.
PARROT WITH CHERRIES: Only the underside of the left wing fluoresces.
Both parrots have a somewhat heavy overall glaze that may obscure other restorations.
