"Boxing Gloves", 1971. Signed and dated '71 lower right. Pencil titled to stretcher. 115 within circle to reverse. Stained pine frame by artist. Byron Randall founded both the Artist's Guild of San Francisco, in 1945 (serving as President), and the San Francisco Graphic Arts Workshop in 1947. Randall's wife, Emmy Lou Packard, created murals with Diego Rivera and was lifelong friends and associates with Rivera and artist Frida Kahlo. 36" x 18" canvas; 37.5" x 19" frame
