Description

A Black Forest Carved Jewelry Chest. Decorated with flowers and a group of goats at the apex, with a satin lined interior 24" x 13.25" x 12.5"

Condition

The lining is in good condition, sustaining some discoloration, but with no apparent tears or damage. The box would benefit from a cleaning. There is a chip to the lid, one of the side panels is missing the top section of the decorative molding, there is a crack and a loss to one of the feet that appears to have been broken and repaired. There are losses to the ears of the goats, some spots of discoloration, and minor gaps in some of the joints consistent with age. The top and both doors can open fully.
