Description
Elvis Presley Custom Made Solid 18K Yellow Gold Guitar Brooch W/Tiger Eye Inlay Given to Aunt Delta W/COA - This custom made brooch was made by Harry Levitch Jewelers of Memphis, at the request of Elvis Presley. The brooch was finely crafted of solid 18k yellow gold with genuine tiger eye inlay, and is in the form of a highly detailed guitar. The brooch was given by Elvis to his Aunt Delta, who was one of Vernon's three sisters and lived at Graceland. The brooch was then given by Aunt Delta to Jimmy Velvet, who was a friend of the Presley and Smith families since 1955, while he was visiting her at Graceland on August 16, 1987. The brooch will come with a certificate of authenticity from the Elvis Presley Museum, which is the only museum in the world which is licensed by Elvis Presley Enterprises and Graceland. The COA is signed by Jimmy Velvet, who met Elvis in 1955 and remained very close with the Presley family even after Elvis' death. Velvet owned and was President of the museum, and amassed the largest authentic collection of artifacts owned by Elvis Presley in the world. The brooch will also come with the Harry Levitch jewelry box. It measures 2.5"L x 0.8"W (at the widest point), and weighs 12.6 grams.
