Winchester, 1892 SRC, .32-20 WCF caliber, SN 776115 with a standard 20" round barrel manufactured in 1915. The barrel and tube retain virtually all of the original blue finish and strong crisp markings. The sights are standard rear ladder and front blade, the bore is like new. The frame retains some thin blue, turning brown. The lever has visible case colors that have turned dark. The wood fits perfectly and is in excellent original condition. The carbine butt plate has engraving around the top and bottom screws and has "Two Shots" engraved in between. The significance of this inscription is not known but one could conjure up a few possible scenarios. (MOD)
