Labeled Hitchcock Ebonized and Stenciled Nine-Piece Dining Suite

comprised of Sheraton fancy chairs, including seven side chairs and one armchair, each labeled "L. Hitchcock Hitchcocksville Conn. Warranteed", h. 34", together with a Queen Anne-style dining table with three leaves and pad feet, h. 29-1/2", w. 44", l. 66", ext. l. 96".


Notes: Crafted during the 1950s interest in Colonial Revival and Early American furniture, this suite is accompanied by the manufacturer's catalogue. The present model is illustrated in "No 233 Turtle Rush Seat".

**In good "as found" condition. All pieces appear to be solid and functional. All exhibit some rubbing and wear to the finish at the perimeter edges.

All chairs are tight and exhibit no discernible movement at their joints. Rush seats are in good to very good condition.

The table top exhibits a number of surface scratches and some normal mars to the edges of the legs and feet.
