Size 9 inches high.A Pottery vessel in the form of Kneeling female figure with hands on her laps, facing with large nose and mouth.Ex. Dr. George Wald, Cambridge MA, Acquired 1960s.He was 1967 recipient of Nobel Peace Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his work on the retina. Much of his collection was assembled in the 1950s and 60s.First from galleries in Boston, New York, London, and Paris. Later, during his travels attending conferences around the world.
