Description
An Egyptian faience bi-color statuette with royal cartouche, 3rd Intermediate Period, 21st Dynasty, c. 1075 - 945 BC, perhaps a concubine figure, wearing tripartite wig, broad collar and long gown, her legs together, right arm at side and left across her body, hand clasping an implement, on the plinth down the back is a cartouche. The face is nicely detailed, and the glaze is now a brownish-green color. H: 5 in (12.8 cm). Ex Collection of Keith Willis, Hertfordshire, England.
