Description
This incredible indian battle shield Dhal is a truly magnificent military armor.
Used by Sikh soldiers in the late 18th. to early -19th. century.
This rare Sikh warrior Shield Dhal has four Sikh religious pious Khanda symbol which has special significance in Sikh religion.
Has 13 spikes inserted in half moon shape , in central panel.Made of hand forged steel profusely chiseled in low relief.
The border rim has hand chisel flower motifs and tendril of quality art which adds dramatic detailing to this incredible piece of armor.
This rare shield is extra large than usual shields .
It measure 19" in diameter.
On the back has 2 handles to hold and has cloth cushion.
