. John Rogers Glover was an award-winning photographer whose international work took him from the Vatican to the Middle East. John won numerous press awards for his work, which was featured in Black & White magazine as well as dozens of books, for which he logged countless miles documenting churches throughout the United States and Canada. John's passion, however, was the nuanced and often abstracted depiction of the human form. He wrote, "The human figure is a feast of lines and forms - a single light source, and black and white film, are a combination to emphasize simple beauty." A former America's Cup sailor and a big-hearted, gregarious charmer, John fell in love with Litchfield County and established a studio at his home in Cornwall, Connecticut.
At John's request, all proceeds from the sale of his photos will be given to charity.
