A fine early mechamical toy, circa late 19th century. Always a bit of confusion as to the original manufacturer, purported to have been first made in America and then later copied by French and German companies. Of course this explains the variety of different heads that were utilized by the various manufacturers. This particular example has a German parian head. Overall in good condition and most likely redressed at some poin t years ago. Condition: Dimensions: 10 -1/4" x 4 -1/2" x 4 -1/2".
