Description
This is a very rare and fascinating ancient terracotta clay sculpture relic from the Bura culture, present day Niger, Africa. The BURA ASINDA SIKKA CULTURE is mysterious and not much is known other than the clay idols that are unearthed by farmers and villagers in the region. This impressive clay idol features a elongated neck and enlarged head in what appears to be a head fragment from a larger sculpture. The sculpture features a highly stylized form, with linear designs on the back of head representing the coiffure are still visible.
