Description
Diego Rivera (Mexico, 1886-1957) framed charcoal and pastel drawing depicting a portrait of a young woman with braided hair, signed to the lower left "Diego Rivera", and titled "Lupita" (probably famed actress Lupita Tovar). Rustic wood frame measures 14" in height with width of 12" and depth of 1" while sight image measures 9-1/2" in height with width of 7-1/2". In overall good condition, all measurements are approximate. This piece comes complete with certificate of authenticity from independent curator Ruth Alvarado Rivera, please see photographs, but is not guaranteed by Bremo Auctions.
