4.40ct GIA Certified Cushion Cut No Heat Blue Sapphire, 2.70ctw VS1-VS2/G-H Diamond & Solid Platinum Ring W/Ornate Incised Band (Comes W/$37,000 Appraisal) - This stunning ring was finely crafted of solid platinum, and boasts a magnificent 4.40ct GIA certified cushion cut blue sapphire. The natural sapphire is an elongated cushion cut and displays a gorgeous transparent blue color and shows "no indications of heating" according to the GIA report. The ring is also embellished with approx. 2.70ctw genuine VS1-VS2/G-H diamonds, which are fiery white and beautifully eye clean. The ring contains approx. 1.50ctw baguette cut diamonds surrounding the sapphire and (3) approx. 0.20ct princess cut diamonds channel set into each of the shoulders. The ring also has a solid 18k yellow gold undercarriage, and has a very heavy and luxurious feel. The ring has a beautifully ornate setting with incised foliate details around the length of the band on the front, back and bottom sides as well as around the gallery, showing expert attention to detail. The ring is also decorated with delicate millgrain details throughout, further alluding to the fine craftsmanship of the piece.
