Description
Antique figural doorstop. Made out of solid (not hollow!) yellow ware. Thick Rockingham brown glaze with white spots. It represents a dog (probably Spaniel, Poodle or Pointer) with individually separated front legs, seated on a thick base. Unglazed underside. Dates back to the mid 1800's. Couple tiny spots of glaze imperfectons on one of the legs and on the corner between the tail and the dog's body, occurred during the manufacturing process. Few chips on the base and the underside edges
