Item Details

Description

Antique figural doorstop. Made out of solid (not hollow!) yellow ware. Thick Rockingham brown glaze with white spots. It represents a dog (probably Spaniel, Poodle or Pointer) with individually separated front legs, seated on a thick base. Unglazed underside. Dates back to the mid 1800's.
