Description
A quite unusual salt glazed earthenware or stoneware item. With amphora shaped bottom, it can stay on a stand only. It is a bottle or a vessel of a kind with a specific use that is unknown to us. Very decorative as well. Great shiny light brown color. Dates back to the late 19th century. Stands on a wrought iron tripod stand. It came together with 4 more alike; please, see the other items that we have for sale.
Measurements: It stands 19.5" with the stand. The vessel only is 12" long with 7.25" largest diameter. The stand is 12" x 7.5" across.
