Early 20th Century Asian / Chinese Carved Green Quartz Funerary Urn Lamp on floral Embossed Brass Base. The lamp features a green quartz carved funerary urn that has been fitted as a lamp. Green quartz has carved flower relief motif, and top lid of funerary Urn features a carved Phoenix / rooster / pheasant motif. Funerary urn is afixed to a pierced teakwood base which sits atop an embossed, impressed and shaped brass stand. There is a small light fixture inside the Urn (without bulb). On the backside, a tall curved brass toned lamp stem extends to light fixture that can be fitted with bulb and shade. This Lamp stem can be removed from base and will need adjusting or replacement / repair as it doesn’t stand upright on its own. Twist Switch on backside base controls both lights, but lamp has not been tested. Brass base is bent inwards on the reverse side, but does not affect the balance of the lamp. Some blemishes on surface consistent with age, needs cleaning. Approx 18 inches in height from base to top of Urn. Approx 33 inches in height from base to top of backside
