Description
A hand written personal letter from Guglielmo Marconi to his daughter Gioia, on Yacht Elettra letterhead. Marconi was an Italian inventor and engineer who is credited as the inventor of the radio and recipient of the 1909 Nobel Prize for Physics. The Yacht Elettra was the setting for many of Marconi's experiments and, during WWII, was commandeered by the German Navy to be used as a war ship. Passed down to consignor through family descent. Letter measures 8" x 5".
