Unusual columned dish with vibrant glazes, signed and dated.
Marked by artist Edith D. Lupton, the dish represents a surprisingly colorful effort from such an early Lambeth piece- inside, deeply carved flowered petals and leaves are glazed in deep blue and pale green; without, between buff columns, pearl white and cobalt applied relief flowers and seeds abound. A fine and rare variety of early Lambeth Artware, dated in stamped logo 1876.
