Latin America, Mexico, Taxco, Los Castillo, ca. 1939 to 1962 CE. A lovely silver plated lidded cup with a pouring spout (perhaps intended to be a creamer) adorned with an intricately delineated seahorse handle and a petite seashell in relief on the lid. Stamped "LOS CASTILLO TAXCO", "MEXICO 291" and "PLATEADO TA-01" on the base. Size: 3.75" W (from seahorse handle to opposite side) x 4.875" H (9.5 cm x 12.4 cm)
Provenance: ex-private Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA collection

Condition
Normal tarnish and a few scuffs to the cup and fitted lid. Seahorse also shows normal tarnish and minor denting.
