Native American, Southwest, New Mexico, Acoma and Tesuque, early to mid 20th century CE. A lovely pair of pueblo potteries - both made from hand-mixed clay, both handbuilt via the coil and scrape technique. First a petite Acoma vessel of a bulbous form with mesmerizing red, black, and white design motifs inspired by nature and geometry. Accompanying this piece is a redware wedding vase with twin spouts joined by an arched handle. Size: wedding vase measures 4.875" W x 5.875" H (12.4 cm x 14.9 cm)
