**First Time At Auction**
Southeast Asia, Thailand, Ban Chiang, ca. 300 BCE. A lovely pair of bronze cuff bands, one for a wrist and the other for an arm. The smaller wrist band is comprised of several individual bronze rods stacked atop one another and then fired together; it displays four thin bands with braided designs across the exterior surface. The larger arm band is comprised of a single curved bronze bar, with flat and smoothed terminals, each showcasing shallow incised crosshatch designs with a textured feel. Each cuff has a wonderful layer of green patina across all surfaces, and both are beautiful examples of ancient Thai craftsmanship! Size of largest (arm band): 4" Diameter (10.2 cm).

Condition
Both items have age-commensurate surface wear, roughness, and light abrasions. Nice earthen deposits, mineral deposits, and green patina throughout. Not recommended for wearing.
