dating: late 19th Century
provenence: Caucasia
Straight, single- and false-edged blade, with a double fuller at the forte that becomes triple on all the rest of its length, on the base are engravings on both sides picturing floral motifs surrounding a band with an inscription in cyrillic on one side, on the other one are en suite motifs around a stilized raptor and a mark, also in cyrillic characters; typically shaped grip, completely plated in silver worked with filigree frames inside of which are nielloed parts engraved with floral patterns. Black-leather-covered wooden sheath (defects) with mounts worked in silver, nielloed and engraved as the grip; a brass ring and a loop.
