Antique set of two souvenir pieces from the city of Jerusalem from the first half of the 20th century. Includes a photo album and note padBoth have wooden front and back covers, made of olive wood in a characteristic technique. Silhouette stenciled decorations on both. The pad is also captioned with the location from which it came - the site of Rachel's Tomb in Bethlehem, in English as well as in Hebrew Both signed JERUSALEM on the backs, the notepad also in Hebrew. The photo album is unused and includes 48 sheets front and back. Vintage/antique, Made for the pilgrimage and tourist trade, first half of the 20th century. Jerusalem, Israel (then British Protectorate of Palestine). Measurements: Approx.Album: 8" x 5" overall, pages are 6" x 4.5".
