This lot consists of a fine art print on paper, hand signed "Degas" in graphite at bottom. In this piece, the viewer is presented by the blurred visages of a turn-of-the-century couple. The man could be looking directly at us, but his face lacks any personalizing detail or clarity of any kind. In the same way, his companion appears to be looking to her right, though we cannot get a read on either of their emotions. The female figure is distinct in that we can clearly see the outline of her nose. Done in the pondering, impressionist style of Edgar Degas (French, 1834-1917). This unframed piece measures approximately 8.25" x 11.5".
