Description
Chinese turquoise ground cloisonne Mu pitcher dating from the late 19th to the early 20th century. The pot is separated into 4 sections: the top has 2 stylized animals with ruyi, the next with the spout features dragons with a lotus, the next depicts stylized geometric ruyi tracery, while the bottom depicts a bat with geometric Chilong tracery. The bottom has a 6-character mark, and there are 2 guardian lion head handles holding rings to which a chain is attached.
Dimensions are: 20 inches tall X 8 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Minor age wear, but overall good condition.
