Description
Group of four different Chinese stone carvings including: Qiyang stone table plaque from the 19th century. Brown Qiyang stone carved with a plain border and with flowers. It rests in a carved wooden stand. Paper attached to back reads "loaned from the Crawford Collection". Dimensions of the Qiyang stone are 2 1/8 inches wide by 3 7/8 inches high. Turquoise carving of Liu Hai catching his toad. Carving comes with a wooden stand. Liu Hai is fishing with a chain to catch a toad.
Dimensions are: 1 3/8" wide X 2" tall for the figure. A set of 2 Chinese agate carvings of birds dating from the 19th century. The pheasant has a wooden stand, while the cockatiel has a hole drilled in the bottom for mounting.
Dimensions are: the larger cockatiel carving measures 2 1/4 inches tall X 7/8 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: The stone tablet has a few small chips, but is in otherwise good condition. The Liu Hai statue is broken. The cockatiel has a chip in its tail, and breaks to its feet. The pheasant is in good condition.
