This limited edition run of the Kelly bag was produced in clear vinyl for 1997 "L'Exposition".
The Kelly was First designed in 1932 and introduced as a travel bag that was referred to as the sac à dépêches. It was then renamed to the Kelly after actress Grace Kelly photographed numerous times with the bag (most notably, while she was pregnant and using it to cover her baby bump).

The two styles of Kelly are the Sellier (or Rigide) and Retourne (or Souple). The Sellier has a more structured, rigid shape with distinct corners and visible exterior stitching, while the Retourne has a more relaxed, softer shape that has rounded edges as though the bag were turned inside out.
