Borgfeldt Corporation, 44-60 East 23rd Street, New York N.Y. "Solid Silver Set consisting of Tea Pot, Coffee Pot, Sugar and Creamer..These pieces were made at the express order of the King of Siam, about 1915, for a friend of his, an Englishman, the editor of the English paper at Bangkok. They represent the real Siamese craftmanship, an art which undoubtedly, under present conditions, no longer exists. There may be a few pieces similar to these in some of the museums in the United States; if so, they are very rare. Upon reliable source, which, however, cannot be guaranteed, the owner was informed that this set was over two years in the making.", weight aprox. 160 T.O.
