Schlarman, DD, Bishop of Peoria, pre-1930 Also called sick call box or last rites box, complete with case, candles, cross, holy water bottle.ï¾  The 1552 and later editions of the Book of Common Prayer omitted the form of anointing given in the original (1549) version in its Order for the VISITATION OF THE SICK, but most twentieth-century Anglican prayer books do have anointing of the sick.  Joseph Henry Leo Schlarman (February 23, 1879 ï¾– November 10, 1951) was an American Prelate of the Roman Catholic Church . He served as Bishop of Peoria from 1930 until his death in 1951.  This is probably older than 1930 because many Bishops or priests would have used it previously.
