Description
Rockwell Kent, American, 1882-1971. Lithographs on paper include one entitled "Solar Fade-Out" and one entitled "Lunar Disintegration" from the series "End of the World", c. 1937. Impressed signature; under glass in a contemporary frame. Paper with watermark "GCM". The paper is slightly toned overall; the first mentioned image with water stains overall, especially noticeable in the margins, taped in each corner; the second image is taped at the top two corners and has a small spot of discoloration just above the signature, also includes a Certificate of Authenticity from Associated American Artists, New York, NY. Image of the first is 9 7/8" x 13", paper size 11 3/4" x 16", 18 1/4" x 20 3/4" high overall; the second image is 10" x 12", 18 1/4" x 20 3/4" high overall.
