Antique bisque socket head doll attributed to Franz Schmidt. Stands 24" tall. Flawless bisque, dark blue sleep eyes, open mouth showing 6 teeth. Incised 17 with the anvil mark of Franz Schmidt & Co. Molded ears, pierced ears and earrings. Lovely antique blonde human hair wig. On her original French jointed composition body. Some paint wear to body, 3 fingers glued on left hand. Right eye is not quite centered, as pictures show there is a crack in the wax on rocker, possibly the reason for the eye being slightly inward. Faint remnants of a sticker on side of body. Dressed in a beautiful antique cotton dress with lace collar. Matching lace around bottom of skirt and around waist. So pretty.
