Vintage Charles and Ray Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman

ca. 1965, for Herman Miller Co., models 670 and 671, constructed of Brazilian rosewood, black leather and polished and enameled aluminum, each retaining a manufacturer's label.

In very good "as found" condition. Sturdy and functional. Wood is in very good condition, retaining its nice, rich color. There is a scrub of white paint on the back of the headrest that should easily buff out. The leather exhibits some wrinkles and wear. There is a scrub to the smooth surface at one of the button tufts of the seat. There is a tear at one of the buttons in the ottoman. Consigned by the original owner, purchased ca. 1965.
