2.75 w × 2.25 d × 6 h in (7 × 6 × 15 cm)

The pulley from the Yoruba peoples (center) is mounted on a base carved by the Japanese artist Kichizo Inagaki, a renowned woodworker living in Paris in the early 20th century. He was often commissioned by collectors, dealers and artists to create bases for works.

This lot includes two pulleys from the Bobo peoples, Burkina Faso and a pulley from the Yoruba peoples, Nigeria. Sold with a digital copy of the original invoice from B.C. Holland.
