Description
A Chinese hardwood paste and seal box. 19th century, Qing Dynasty. The fitted interior houses two seals / chops each carved on each end. One receptacle still filled with red paste. The box with pyramid shaped lid and four carved feet, measures 2.5" wide, 1-7/8" deep, 1-1/8" high.
PROVENANCE: Ex. collection of General Joseph Warren Stilwell (1883-1946) via his grandson, son of Winifred Stilwell Cox (daughter of General Stilwell).
